Aisling Bea
Aisling was born on March 16 1984, in Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and well-known comedians. She appeared on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, more popularly known as her stage name Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984) is an Irish actress, writer and comedian. Bea started her professional career with stand-up comedy in the year 2011, following small parts she played on Irish and British TV dramas beginning in 2009. In 2012, Bea was appearing on sitcoms or sketch comedy. After her victory during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was booked for a variety of panel programs. She has been a part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016 and she is one of the most popular contestants on the sequel 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She is the daughter of Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her younger sister, was born. The only ever woman to win So You Think You're Funny. The surname of Bea is in honor of her father who passed away. Aisling O'Sullivan, also referred to as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town, which is located in County Kildare. Her father Brian was a veterinarian for horses who died at the age of three. Bea was only three years old though she wasn't told about the cause of his death until she turned 13. The stage name Bea was in tribute to her father. Bea published an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017, about her experience of suicide. Bea, along with her sister Sinead, were raised in the home of Helen Moloney (n e Moloney) an ex-jockey and teacher at a secondary-school. Her parents were obsessed by horses and racing. Bea was a child a tour guide at the Irish National Stud. From an early age, Bea knew that she was not interested in the racing industry. Instead, she was drawn to the performance arts.
