Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks was an American actor, most famous for her portrayal of Joan Holloway. She played the character for seven seasons of AMC's classic period show Mad Men from 2007-2015. The role she played in the series won her critical appreciation and six Emmy award nominations in the category for the most outstanding supporting actress. Since her time in the industry with over two decades she has also been recognized for her role in the legal drama Kevin Hill comedy series Another Period crime-drama the series Tin Star and comedy-crime series Good Girls. Her performances are noted in films like Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River and The Neon Demon, The Strangers : Prey at Night Egg, and American Woman. She has also provided her voice for animations, such as From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 or Scoob! In the beginning, she worked as a model and continued in the field for a lengthy time, before she finally made an acting debut in television on the anthology series Undressed in 1999. The actress had her first big performance in the comedy-drama Beggars and Choosers. After the show, she was recognized for her role on Firefly. Esquire Magazine named her the most beautiful woman in America and the sexiest women in the entire world in 2010.
